Session Summary

"Are You a Salmon, Too?" was a BoF that I originally believed was meant to be on struggling against gender stereotypes, but like any BoF, the focus soon shifted. Many women who spoke were actively undergoing blatant sexual harassment and discrimination - many here in the US! It seemed that the younger women, particularly still in college, weren't even aware that the behaviours their bosses were demonstrating were illegal. Eye opening.
